Andromina robot, 4 directional wheels. (Arduino, Raspberry, PICAXE, ROS robot)

These videos show the main features of Andromina robot, this robot carries 4 directionals wheels that they can turn 90º to 0º and 90º to 180º. Four standard servomotors control the rotation of the wheels and they can rotation  independently of each other.

The first video shows four wheels turning simultaneously. The second video shows other configuration of Arduino UNO.  In this configuration, wheels turn with different combinations. This system of wheels allows a control like a Mars rovers.

In this first test, I used an Arduino UNO, a kit with 6 cell of 1,2v (total: 7,2v), a capacitor and a prototype board. The 4 servos are directly connected to 7,2v. This type of servos can work between 3 to 7,2v. This first test is provisional. In next posts we are going to do more complex electrical schemes.
